Hello there, here is a little peek into who I am…

My journey to massage and bodywork happened organically.  As far back as I can remember my family has been one that honored the power of touch. Whether this be through giving one another a massage, creating art, cooking, or gardening.  We understood that hands are intuitive and powerful conduits of healing and creation. After having delved into yoga philosophy, becoming a yoga teacher in the process, and graduating with my bachelor’s in Art and Psychology my intrigue of the hands, bodywork, and holistic healing grew exponentially. I knew in some way I wanted to help nurture and create sacred spaces of healing and this passion is what led me to massage.

“To me, bodywork is a team effort and I honor that each person understands their own body better than I ever will.”

The first sacred space we encounter in life is our physical body and it is through the body and our senses that we experience and hold all of life. The trauma, the pain, the joy, the tension, the peace, our bodies have felt it all. My intention in my practice is to simply help bring awareness to one’s whole system, so that the client can begin to ground in their body, recognize their own energy, and move towards finding the healer within themselves. I believe that healing is not a linear path and is one that should be approached with a humble and flexible spirit. Each session I hope to hold space for my clients so that they can journey down the healing path feeling safe and supported. I have crafted my practice to be one that adapts to a person’s ever shifting needs, intuitively drawing techniques from Swedish, Deep-Tissue, Myofascial, Structural, and Tui Na to best serve their body in each moment.  To me, bodywork is a team effort and I honor that each person understands their own body better than I ever will.

Outside of bodywork, you can find me channeling my creative energy into surrealist oil paintings, drawings, and sculptures reflecting aspects of consciousness, the cosmos, and nature.  I might be hiding in a good book or creating my own stories exploring nature with my partner Sampson, who is always supportive of even my most wild adventures.  Or possibly, I am cuddling my cats because everyone deserves moments of peace and rest.
